Audit & Mitigation

Audits

A compliance audit is a comprehensive review of an organization's adherence to regulatory (external); and corporate (internal) guidelines. Auditors review policies, controls, safety, and risk management procedures over the course of a compliance audit. What, precisely, is examined in a compliance audit will vary depending upon an organization. Compliance auditors will generally ask administrators a series of pointed questions over the course of an audit.

Compliance is either a state of being in accordance with established guidelines, specifications, or legislation or the process of becoming so. Compliance in a regulatory context is a prevalent business concern, perhaps because of an ever-increasing number of regulations and a fairly widespread lack of understanding about what is required for a company to be in compliance with new legislation.

As compliance has increasingly become a concern of corporate management, corporations are turning to specialized software, consultancies, and even a new job title, the Chief Compliance Officer (COO). Electrisk has assisted in, and/ or performed, hundreds of internal audits in an effort to help organizations discover gaps in complying with internal or external procedures and standard practices. We can do the same for your organization.

Mitigations

Audits are excellent at discovering non compliance issues however, what do you do with the findings from an audit? Many organizations conclude that properly addressing findings is a road to perdition filled with never-ending business prohibitive costs. This thought is not necessarily true unless you have limited knowledge and experience.

Electrisk has unparalleled experience in bringing non compliant legacy equipment and process operations into full compliance in the most effective manner that considers cost first, without sacrificing safety or business integrity.

Electrisk can help you mitigate findings from internal and external audits that arise from electrical safety or other process related areas such as Machine Safeguarding, Lock Out/ Tag Out (LO/TO), Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) etc.
